Fans Hit the Road to Watch Their Favorite Teams Play

By

A typical day at a Spring Training game consists of eating hot dogs, drinking beer and meeting dedicated baseball fans who traveled from near and far to watch their favorite teams and meet their favorite players.

Publix Field At Joker Marchant Stadium was the site of the Yankees vs Tigers game on Tuesday where fans from as far as England gathered in the stands to enjoy the lively sports atmosphere — and the nice weather.

These three fans left Connecticut to escape work for a few days, relax in the Florida sun and cheer for a Yankees win.

Maury and Joe flew from Buffalo and are hoping to see Aaron Judge hit a home run during their time at Spring Training. “Who doesn’t love Aaron Judge?” Joe said.

Patrice, Peggy, and Matt traveled from Toledo and are excited to watch old and new Yankees players take the field.

It’s the classic baseball staples and environment that keep fans traveling those many miles year after year, and Joker Marchant Stadium has them all.
