Izzy McGarvey is a University of Florida junior studying journalism with a specialization in sports and media and a certificate in sport management. She currently works for the UF Club Hockey Team as a social media intern and for the Sports@CJC social media platforms as a member of the brand design team.

She loves social media (especially TikTok), as she gets to be creative in ways audiences her age can appreciate. She hopes to go into social media content creation in the sports world and plans to graduate in May 2026.

Izzy is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and roots for the Cincinnati Reds. She grew up less than 10 minutes away from the ballpark, and her dad instilled his same love of the game in her. She is excited to get to work in Arizona in March.
