Noah White

Noah White, a sophomore at the University of Florida from West Hartford, Connecticut, has pursued UF and north central Florida stories for more than a year. Currently, Noah serves as the assistant sports editor and copy chief of The Independent Florida Alligator and also as a sports coordinator for WRUF.com: Gainesville's student-run ESPN affiliate. He is also the digital operations manager for CJCxARZ. His work has also been published on WUFT News, WRUF and the University of Florida Athletic Association.
His favorite stories focus on the rapidly evolving nature of college athletics, and where that world touches federal and state government. Noah likes stories with a little chaos in them, which often overlaps with his previous story areas of interest.
In May 2027, he hopes to obtain his bachelors in journalism with a specialization in sports in media from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications, along with a minor in public relations and a sports management certificate. After graduation, he plans to pursue a reporting career covering college athletics. In his free time, he likes to get run into by raccoons and to take frequent trips to Target to check up on Stitch.
