Ethan Eibe

Ethan Eibe is a senior at the University of Florida who will graduate in May 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Sports & Media. He is a play-by-play broadcaster, writer, radio host and storyteller who hopes to become the voice of a Major League Baseball team. He is an avid Marlins fan and grew up listening to local broadcasters Rich Waltz and Tommy Hutton, the duo who inspired him to pursue the dream.
In 2023, Ethan founded the Orange & Blue Sports Network, the UF College of Journalism and Communications' student-run play-by-play platform. He has spent the last four summers broadcasting summer baseball at multiple stops, including the Texas- based Alpine Cowboys in the independent professional Pecos League from 2021-23, where he was the assistant general manager in his third season, and the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod League in 2024.
Ethan resides in Coral Springs, Florida.
