Madison Walker

Originally from Northern California, she grew up immersed in sports, developing a deep passion for baseball that has guided her career aspirations. Throughout her time at UF, she has built an impressive portfolio of experience, including roles as a sports anchor and reporter for WUFT News, a UF baseball beat reporter for ESPN Gainesville, and as a student journalist covering the MLB Grapefruit Spring Training League.
Her professional journey includes high-profile internships and on-field hosting roles with Major League Baseball affiliates, including the Pittsburgh Pirates’ Bradenton Marauders and the Miami Marlins’ Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. Madison has also worked as a multimedia intern for the United States Naval Academy and as a sideline reporter for the Cape Cod Baseball League's Wareham Gatemen.
She is currently serving as the Multimedia Manager for UF’s 2025 Cactus League spring training team. With a strong background in live reporting, video production, and baseball altogether, she aspires to become a full-time sideline reporter for an MLB team, using her storytelling abilities to connect fans with the athletes and moments that define the game.
